The outer case and the center links of the bracelet are made of zirconia ceramic, a material that is seven times harder than stainless steel, and the inner case is made of a high-intensity titanium that is both strong and light, so that the watch is perfect for active sports use. The beautifully crafted ceramic edges form a polyhedral shape and are polished to a mirror finish, which produces intricate reflections that are one of the key characteristics of Grand Seiko. Powering the watch is Caliber 9R86, a Spring Drive chronograph with a column wheel and a GMT function, rated to +/-15 seconds a month with a power reserve of 72 hours.
